There is no better place then a Enng college to find a geek and here are the top things they are found doing in college.

1) Update your facebook or twitter status via mobile during a lecture. And your are a firm believer of the Quote "when life provides you questions google has answers".

2) Read some computer language book that none of your friends might have heard of and Expect everyone else to naturally know what you're talking about.

3) Decrypt an encoded code and then make your own encrypted code and tell your friends to decrypt it

4) During break instead of having lunch you go to library and reading a technology books and magazines.

5) Organize a event during your college's technical fest and take part in most of the events you check out all the banners of technical festivals around your college

The 75$ future computer .

Well u might have heard about the "hundred-dollar laptop" for childrens in the developing nations. This one is called as a XO-3 still on its dream run, yet to be made as a product is supposed to be launched by 2012 for just 75$. But rather being just a 75$ laptop this one seems out to be every childs dream now, even i would like to go to shcool if they are giving me something so cool. But no one has faith on this concept as of now. Similarly the Rs 500 or 10$ computer  as you can see in the picture below is another concept known to us.

  Well here we are with two future concepts just about to get some life, its very simple concept of a laptop on one side with 2gb ram , basically a computing device  and on the other side is this XO-3 very futuristic, very thin with 8.5 x 11 touchscreen. Whoever makes up to the project it would be a boom to the developing countries like India. I just hope the One laptop per child comes real very soon.

The Crash day but be prepared .

Imagine your Operating System crashed and you have to use the internet for something very urgent . So what can you do. Here are some Tips to be prepared for the worst day and how to use the things around you efficiently.

1)Live cd :

Always have a live cd of os like Ubuntu and damn small linux being my favourite for this.All you have to do this download the iso files for this os(its free) and then burn it simple,then when trouble comes just insert this disk within few mins you would running an os with the help of that live cd and you will be surfing as usual.

2)Backup:

Always backup your important files on your hardisk or an usb pend driver. This is very imporatant step.

3)Mp3 player:

You do need some entertainment dont you so store those songs in your mp3 and you can do is connect your speakers with ur Mp3 directly.♫♫

So with this very simple steps you can be onthe go on worst conditions.

Economy Phone of the year - Nokia E63

Nokia E71 launched just more then a year a go it was success straight away. No wonder soon it became my favourite but there were two issues with this phone i had first one was the price n second 2.5mm jack for audio. This phone was a mega hit last year and also became the phone of the year but nokia was aware of the price factor which stopped many people to get their hands on the killer phone. So nokia came up with a small brother of this phone the nokia E63 so lets now talk about this phone.

The most attractive thing about this phone is its price factor. Priced at Rs 12,300 approx its about 7000 rs cheaper then its big brother E71 but with low price somethings have to go down. Also its the cheapest qwerty phone with wifi around the market

Advantages
A Standard 3.5 mm audio jack is a boon which means u can now even connect your ipod earphones to it. The qwerty keyboard feels better then its big bro other good features of this phone include Symbian 9.2 OS, S60 UI with FP1, Convenient shortcut keys, Provider-independent VoIP support, Office document editor, User-friendly Mode Switch for swapping two homescreen setups and great battery life with talk time upto 11hrs and music playback upto 18hrs as mentioned on the specs which means this phone could easily last for 3-4 days with a single charge on a average use. Now comes in black edition.

Disadvantages
Its got a plastic body as compared to steel body of its big bro but its still well built. It has become 3mm fatter because of plastic body but still its slim n easily fits on your pockets and palms. No gps no HSDPA and the camera comes down to 2 megapixel.

The Final words are its a great Economy phone with lots of features and no-nonsense phone for business section and the college section. Its wins my heart on the price and performance and beats all phones of its class. The lacking GPS comes closest to but still can't be a definite no-go, with a very few downfalls this phone is a one to consider.
